If you can read English comfortably but freeze when you speak, the issue is not knowledge. Your brain simply has not practised retrieving that knowledge fast enough.
The fix is short, daily and slightly uncomfortable: speak for two minutes on one topic, without stopping, and record it. Then listen back and note only the moments you paused.
Repeat the same topic the next day. By the third attempt the pauses shrink, because you are no longer searching for the language — you are recalling it.
In our Spoken English batches this drill runs at the start of every class. Learners typically report a noticeable drop in hesitation within three weeks.
